Ba Vang Pagoda, whose name is Bao Quang Tu, was built during the Tran Dynasty (13th century) and is located on Thanh Dang Mountain in the complex of Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen Sect - the largest and unique Zen sect in the country. NGÀY 1: HANOI - YEN TU - BA VANG PAGODA - HANOI ( Lunch )
06h00: The bus and guide pick you up and depart for Yen Tu.
Take the cable car up to visit the Buddha Emperor Stupa and Hoa Yen Pagoda. Hoa Yen Pagoda is located on Yen Tu Mountain, at an altitude of 516m.
You continue your journey to Yen Tu by cable car to Dong Pagoda, with the next stop being Emperor Tran Nhan Tong Buddha Square, where the bronze statue of Emperor Tran Nhan Tong weighing 138 tons is officially inaugurated on the 1/11th day of the lunar calendar (3/12/2013).
The cast statue sitting on a pedestal is made of reinforced concrete clad with sculptural stone more than 3 m high, lotus more than 2 m, bronze statue body 9.9 m high. Offer incense in front of the Buddha Emperor statue and relax at Buddha Emperor Square, enjoying the majestic scenery of Yen Tu mountains and forests. You continue to the Dong Pagoda, also known as Thien Truc Pagoda. Dong Pagoda is located on the top of Yen Tu Mountain, with an altitude of 1068m. In 2007, the Dong Pagoda was set a record as the largest bronze pagoda in Vietnam.
After offering incense at Dong Pagoda, you begin your return journey. On the way down the mountain, you visit and burn incense at One Roof Pagoda - the most unique architectural pagoda in Yen Tu area (along with Dong Pagoda), containing many historical values. (You are at your own expense)
Lunch: Have lunch at the restaurant
Afternoon: The delegation moved to visit the Three Golden Pagoda. Drive to Ba Vang Pagoda - The pagoda has the ancient name Bao Quang Tu, the pagoda was built in the year of An Dau, the reign of King Le Lu Tong ie in 1676. The pagoda is located at an altitude of 340m, above sea level, on a very beautiful position of Uong Bi City. According to the remaining epitaph of the pagoda, Ba Vang Mountain was formerly called Dang Dang Son, on both sides of Thanh Long, White Tiger adoration, the pagoda is also an extension of the Linh Son Yen Tu range, associated with the name of Truc Lam Ma Ha Sa Mon Tue Bich Pho Zen Master (1658-1757), descendants of the Three Ancestors of Truc Lin.
